If truth be told, Sarah is propelled by a generous dose of slapstick, a love for colour and line, a clever story and a good cup of coffee. Born in Stockport, Cheshire, on a snowy November day. She grew up grazing and scampering in the fields surrounding Buxton, Derbyshire. She graduated from Falmouth College of Arts in 2001 and Kingston University in 2004 on completing her Masters in Illustration.
SH now lives in London and works from Happiness At Work Studios in Wapping. Over the last decade, Sarah’s work has led her to some very diverse subject matter: Rhinos, Ghosts, Tortoises, Marathon runners, Detective Grannies, Romans, Aliens and plenty of Monsters and recurring ‘Thingies’. The list continues to this day. Sarah also writes and paints.
